The Show

WVZ Awards annually honors artists’ impact and gives flowers to professionals making waves in the independent music industry.

HOST

  • Artist, Actress & LGBTQ Activist

Ts Madison, also known as Madison Hinton, is a Grammy and Emmy Award-winning media personality. She has helped elevate transgender visibility and representation through her involvement with RuPaul’s Drag Race. Notably, Madison's voice is heavily sampled on Beyoncé's album, world tour, and film of the same name — Renaissance. As a transgender woman of color in the entertainment industry, she is a trailblazer.

HONOREE

  • Artist, Producer & Ballroom Legend

Kevin is a Philly-born ballroom commentator whose voice is sampled at the start of Beyoncé’s Pure/Honey off the Grammy Award-winning album Renaissance. He’s also narrated much of the record-breaking Renaissance World Tour.. Though he has been thrust into the mainstream with his dazzling turn in Renaissance: a film by Beyonce, ask anyone in the ballroom scene, and they’ll tell you that Kevin is a legend.
