  • Managing Director

    As Managing Director, Daryl brings over a decade in music management experience to the WVZ MFG team.

    Daryl is also an award-winning strategist and fundraiser, successfully leading strategic partnerships with American Express, National Basketball Association (NBA), Goldman Sachs, and The Coca-Cola Company. Daryl oversees the day-to-day operations, partnerships, and talent acquisition of WVZ MFG Publishing Co.

  • Creative Director

    Dave Giles II is a Chicago-bred, LA-based, 2-time Grammy nominated artist, producer and songwriter, who’s penchant for Diasporic dance music has amassed radio spins and chart placements in over 30 countries, and syncs in feature films. Notably, he is a co-writer and producer of Beyonce’s hit song Cozy from her #1 album, Renaissance. His collaboration with house music icons Honey Dijon & Mike Dunn, Work dominated UK radio and contributed to a BBC Radio Award nomination. Dave has also led national print and video campaigns for Nordstrom, Blink Fitness, and Home Depot. In partnership with producer Sam O.B. as Dave + Sam, they have worked extensively with Moodswing Music and UK-based Defected Records to package love, empowerment and socio-political commentary atop a globally-informed fusion of house, hip hop, and electronic dance.

  • A&R Director

    Maiya Norton is a Los Angeles native who returned to the city after spending over a decade in the DMV and New York City. In her early career, she became immersed in all things music as a journalist for publications like Entertainment Weekly, SPIN, The Source and Vibe. Maiya segued into the creative marketing and advertising world, developing campaigns for brands including Nike Jordan, Beats by Dre and CoverGirl. She expressed her passion for music through blogging and throwing artist showcase series in New York and major festivals like CMJ and SXSW nationwide. Highlighting rising artists has been a source of joy and her ear for discovering new talent is a gift. Maiya is currently a bicoastal DJ with a monthly residency with WorldwideFM, a member of Ladies of Sound in Los Angeles and Beat Junkies alum. In addition to spinning, she’s also working as a music supervisor for several indie films and series. At WVZ, her focus areas are connecting artists and brands for sync opportunities and building a network of global DJs.

  • Production Director

    Hayling is a composer from New York, who’s production puts a contemporary, somewhat left-of-center spin on late-'70s and early-'80s crossover jazz, with touches of hip-hop, and analog and electronic elements. A classically trained keyboardist studied in mix engineering and synthesizer programming, he has released solo and collaborative projects under different aliases for over 15 years. Hayling received an MBA from Harvard Business School and an MPP from the Harvard Kennedy School.

  • Social Media Director

    Candess Cotton is a St. Louis-based multi hyphenate Creative and Educator from Oakland, California. Although much of her professional tenure has been in Talent Management and Business Development, her knack for contributing to entertainment spaces has endured. She maintains these interests as a deejay (Dj sol) and freelance music journalist, publishing articles for entities like Blavity and the Universal Hip Hop Museum. In 2022, she independently produced and launched “Facts and Flows with Sol” via social media. Facts and Flows combines her interests in black music, history, and knowledge sharing. At WVZMFG, this work continues for her as the Director of Social Media. She is effective at and passionate about engineering content that is informative, engaging, and will organically grow brand audiences.

  • Director of Music Experiences

    Corece is a LA based vocalist and songwriter who burst into the scene through collabs with Honey Dijon and recently becoming a Grammy winning writer on Beyoncé’s Renaissance.

    An MFA from Depaul University, and a well regarded director, music supervisor and composer for film, Corece brings a wealth of knowledge to experiential production.

  • Director of Sync Licensing

    Jasmin Benward (She/They) is a non-binary, queer, invisibly disabled, multidisciplinary artist, and educator based in LA working as a Music Supervisor, Creative Sync Coordinator and A&R Rep.

    She is a proud recipient of fellowships & awards from GLAAD, The Center for Cultural Power, Women in Film and Unlock Her Potential.

  • Experiential Tech Director

    Chris is a Chicago native now residing in Costa Rica boasting various artistic and technical skill sets. His career in tech includes NBC Universal, Citigroup and Google NYC. As a recording artist with a degree in Audio Production and classical vocal training, Chris employs both his artistic and technical expertise to create meaningful and engaging music; live events; and digital content.

    Christian is a NY-born, NJ-bred, MSc Marketing Candidate at Durham University (UK).  He started his career as an agency and in-house technical recruiter, successfully supporting the strategic growth of talent communities at various Fortune 500 companies.  He later transitioned to the entertainment industry as an open-format DJ and professional athlete living abroad in Spain and England.
